A voice app for adults
Two voices. One sky.
Talkoa matches you with a stranger who speaks your language, for a real conversation. No video, no photos, no profiles. Just two people talking.
Finding someone
Someone is awake, somewhere.
Tap Start talking and your star goes out into the sky. Talkoa looks for a person who speaks your language, anywhere in the world, and the first one who answers is your call.
There is nothing to swipe and no one to pick from a photo. You meet by talking.
On a call
Two stars find each other.
When someone answers, a line of light draws between you and the call begins. Each star glows with its person's voice.
Calls last up to 15 minutes, or up to an hour with Talkoa Plus. A gentle timer shows how long you have been talking.
- Voice only
- No video, no photos, no text chat.
- Never recorded
- We never record calls, and no audio is stored on our servers.
- Phone to phone
- Audio travels directly between phones, or through an encrypted relay when it has to.
Matched by language
Say it in your language.
English is free for everyone. Hindi, French, Spanish and Filipino unlock with a two-minute listening test, so the person who answers really does speak your language.
- HelloEnglish. Free for everyone.
- नमस्तेHindi. Two-minute listening test.
- BonjourFrench. Two-minute listening test.
- HolaSpanish. Two-minute listening test.
- KumustaFilipino. Two-minute listening test.
Friends
Your constellation.
After a good call, both of you can tap Add friend. If you both do, you join each other's constellation and can ring each other later.
Friends appear as names made from a random ID, like Blue Heron or Marigold. No real names, no photos.
Safe by design
Simple on purpose.
Talkoa is for adults, 18 and over. There are no profiles, photos or names, so there is nothing to perform and nothing to scroll. Report and Block are one tap away and free for everyone. Reports from several people pause an account, and a ban stays with the phone.
- Adults onlyTalkoa is for people 18 and over.
- One-tap Report and BlockFree for everyone, after any call.
- No profileNo name, no photos, no bio. People see your country and whether you are new.

Free, with ads
Talkoa is free. There is a small banner on Home and a short ad between some calls, never during a call. Your first few calls have no full-screen ads at all.
